A FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL TROOPER PULLED OVER A CAR FOR MAKING AN ILLEGAL U-TURN IN PORT CHARLOTTE AND FOUND A WHOLE LOT MORE INSIDE THE CAR.  28 YEAR OLD TYBREEL BENTLEY OF PORT CHARLOTTE MADE THE ILLEGAL MANEUVER ON KINGS HIGHWAY NEAR SANDHILL BOULEVARD JUST AFTER 10AM YESTERDAY, AND WHEN THE TROOPER APPROACHED HE SMELLED THE DISTINCT PUNGENT ODOR OF MARIJUANA EMANATING FROM INSIDE THE CAR.  A RECORDS CHECK SHOWED BENTLEY’S DRIVER’S LICENSE HAD BEEN CANCELLED FOR FOUR PREVIOUS VIOLATIONS OF DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE.  A SEARCH INSIDE THE PONTIAC GRAND PRIX FOUND A WAL-MART BAG WITH COCAINE, CRACK COCAINE, MARIJUANA, AND EXTACY PILLS INSIDE.  BENTLEY AND HIS PASSENGER, 23 YEAR OLD KIMBERLY TURPIN OF WAVERLY, WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES AND TAKEN TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL WHERE THEY ARE BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND.  WHILE BEING PROCESSED, OFFICERS FOUND MARIJUANA HIDDEN ON BENTLEY.  HE WAS HIT WITH ADDITIONAL CHARGES OF SMUGGLING CONTRABAND INTO A DETENTION FACILITY.
