A PORT CHARLOTTE MAN WAS FOUND TO BE WALKING AWKWARDLY AS HE WAS BEING BOOKED INTO THE COUNTY JAIL, AND THERE WAS A REASON.  CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY 22 YEAR OLD SALVATORE ZAMBUTO WAS IN A CAR DRIVEN BY 20 YEAR OLD ELIZABETH LAFLEUR OF PUNTA GORDA WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, WHICH PASSED A DEPUTY.  ZAMBUTO SLOUCHED DOWN WHEN SEEN, AND THE DEPUTY PULLED THEM OVER IN A RESTAURANT PARKING LOT.  ZAMBUTO WAS WANTED ON TWO ARRESTED WARRANTS AND WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY, AND THE DETECTIVE SAW SYRINGES AND SPOONS IN THE CAR ALONG WITH PILLS.  LAFLEUR WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF XANAX.  SHE POSTED BOND AND WAS RELEASED.  WHILE IN THE INTAKE AREA, A DEPUTY SAW ZAMBUTO WALKING AWKWARDLY WHEN HE ASKED TO USE THE BATHROOM.  DEPUTIES WENT IN AND FOUND HIM ON THE FLOOR WITH A TIED LATEX GLOVE FILLED WITH PILLS AND A COUPLE OF GRAMS OF POT.  OFFICERS DID A STRIP SEARCH AND FOUND ANOTHER GLOVE FILLED WITH TOBACCO IN HIS ANUS.  ZAMBUTO WAS CHARGED WITH INTRODUCTION OF CONTRABAND INTO A CORRECTIONS FACILITY, PLUS POSSESSION OF SUBOXEN, MARIJUANA, AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA ALONG WITH THE TWO FELONY WARRANTS.  HE IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND IN THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL.
