On 9/13/24, our agency received an anonymous tip in regard to a juvenile being in possession of a firearm. Officers on duty at the time arrived in the area, and developed probable cause for a traffic stop where contact was made with the juvenile. The juvenile was in fact in possession of a Taurus 9mm handgun.
The juvenile was arrested, and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Minor. He was later transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
