Military romance scams involve the scammer posing as a military member who’s likely deployed. They build up trust before asking for money to cover expenses.
Intimate activity scams is when the scammer connects with their target on multiple social media websites, and convinces them to undress and threatens them with the recordings.
Code verification scams is when scammers send a fake verification code through text or email, posing to be a dating app or website. Once clicked on, it will ask for personal information such as social security number and credit cards.
