Man Arrested for Alleged Voyeurism Incident at Local Wawa
April 26, 2025 – Police responded to a Wawa convenience store following reports of a man inside the women’s restroom allegedly recording or photographing a female victim. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with a witness who provided a description of the suspect. Officer Taylor soon spotted a man matching the description, later identified as 27-year-old Julio Domingo Gaspar, fleeing the area. He was quickly apprehended and detained.
Following an on-site investigation, Gaspar was arrested and formally charged with voyeurism.
City Marshal Jones issued a statement regarding the incident:
“Keeping this city safe is and always has been this department’s priority. This subject acted beyond inappropriately and thought he could just run away. Let this be a reminder for everyone that if you commit a crime, you will be held accountable.”
