A PORT CHARLOTTE MAN IS BEHIND BARS AFTER ALLEGEDLY BURGLARIZING THREE BUSINESSES THERE.  CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY 30 YEAR OLD WILLIAM CROW JR. SMASHED IN THE FRONT DOOR OF PAWS ‘R’ US ON TAMIAMI TRAIL AND TOOK $300 DOLLARS CASH, A GUN HOLSTER, AND A LAPTOP.  AUTHORITIES WERE ABLE TO LIFT BLOOD FROM THE BROKEN GLASS THERE, AND THE OWNER’S .45 CALIBER REVOLVER WAS FOUND NEAR THE DOOR.  THE OWNER OF EL PAISANO GROCERY SAID $300 DOLLARS CASH WAS TAKEN AFTER HIS FRONT DOOR GLASS WAS SMASHED IN.  A LAUNDROMAT IN THE PLAZA WHERE THE GROCERY IS HAD VIDEO OF THE PERPETRATOR THROWING AN OBJECT THROUGH THE WINDOW, ENTERING THE STORE, AND EXITING WITH A BOX UNDER HIS ARM.  DETECTIVES CHECKING HOSPITALS FOUND CROW AT THE PEACE RIVER REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WITH A DEEP LACERATION ON HIS LEG.  CROW MATCHED THE DESCRIPTION ON THE VIDEO AND DETECTIVES FOUND WET CLOTHES AT HIS GIRLFRIEND’S HOUSE.  CROW WAS CHARGED WITH THREE COUNTS OF BURGLARY AND TWO COUNTS OF GRAND THEFT.  HE WAS TAKEN TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL WHERE HE IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND, AND IT’S HIS 14TH ARREST WITH 27 RECORDS IN CHARLOTTE COUNTY.  DETECTIVES SAY THERE COULD BE AT LEAST FOUR OTHER BUSINESSES THAT CROW MAY HAVE BROKEN INTO, AND THEIR INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING.
