CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES ARRESTED A DRIFTER IN CONNECTION WITH THE MURDER OF THE OWNER OF ANTIQUES PLUS OVER THE WEEKEND.  DEPUTIES SAY 33 YEAR OLD JAMES BESAW WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY SATURDAY AFTER THE PUBLIC IDENTIFIED PHOTOS RELEASED FRIDAY OF A MAN WANTED FOR QUESTIONING IN THE MURDER.  64 YEAR OLD JEFFREY MAZUR, THE MAN WHO WAS ATTACKED WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, DIED FRIDAY AFTER HE WAS TAKEN OFF OF LIFE SUPPORT AT LEE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL.  DEPUTIES BELIEVE BESAW, WHO CAME TO THE AREA A FEW MONTHS AGO AND HAD BEEN LIVING AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE WEST CHARLOTTE AREA, ACTED ALONE IN THE CONFRONTATION WITH MAZUR, BUT THEY SAY THE HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION IS STILL OPEN AT THIS TIME.  THEY STILL HAVE YET TO RELEASE THE DETAILS OF EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED IN THE ACCESS ROAD STORE WEDNESDAY.  BESAW IS CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE MURDER AND AGGRAVATED ROBBERY WITH A DEADLY WEAPON.  HE HAD HIS FIRST COURT APPEARANCE IN FRONT OF JUDGE PETER BELL SUNDAY MORNING AND WAS DENIED BOND.  HIS NEXT COURT APPEARANCE IS SET FOR FEBRUARY 14TH.
