During the early hours of August 17th, members of the Arcadia Police Department responded to a shooting. Through investigative measures, Curtis Mobley was determined to be a suspect. A lawful arrest warrant was obtained for Mobley, and a lawful search warrant was executed at his residence. As a result of this, the firearm used in the shooting was recovered.
Mobley was subsequently arrested and charged with Attempted Murder of a Correctional Officer, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle, and Violation of Probation.
