A ROTONDA WEST MAN WAS ARRESTED EARLY SUNDAY MORNING AFTER HAVING AN ARGUMENT WITH HIS WIFE. CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY 55 YEAR OLD STEPHEN LAMBERT BEGAN ARGUING WITH THE VICTIM AFTER SHE COMPLAINED SHE WAS COLD AND HAD NO SHEETS IN BED. LAMBERT ALLEGEDLY BEGAN TO STRANGLE HIS WIFE, PINNING HER TO THE BED. SHE WAS ABLE TO ESCAPE AND CALL DEPUTIES. LAMBERT WAS CHARGED WITH BATTERY BY STRANGULATION. HE WAS RELEASED FROM THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL AFTER POSTING A $5000 BOND.
