A PORT CHARLOTTE TEEN WHO HAD A WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST WAS FOUND RIDING HIS BICYCLE ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON.  DEPUTIES SAY 18 YEAR OLD DERIK DAVIS HAD A WARRANT ON CHARGES OF FAILURE TO APPEAR, LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT, AND DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE.  A DEPUTY SPOTTED DAVIS ON THE 21,100 BLOCK OF MEEHAN BOULEVARD AND TOOK HIM INTO CUSTODY.  WHEN THE DEPUTY SEARCHED DAVIS, HE FOUND FOUR BAGS OF MARIJUANA AND $755 CASH.  DAVIS TOLD THE OFFICER HE HAD SAVED THE MONEY FROM ODD JOBS, BUT DID NOT HAVE ANY DOCUMENTATION TO SUPPORT HIS CLAIM.  DAVIS WAS CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF OVER TWENTY GRAMS OF MARIJUANA, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, AND POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WITH THE INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  HE IS BEING HELD ON $16,500 BOND IN THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL.
