PUNTA GORDA POLICE ARRESTED A CAPE CORAL MAN WHO IS SUSPECTED OF COMMITTING MULTIPLE BURGLARIES IN PUNTA GORDA.  POLICE SAY 22 YEAR OLD MARK DICKINSON WAS ARRESTED ON THREE COUNTS OF BURGLARY, TWO COUNTS OF GRAND THEFT AND TWO COUNTS OF CRIMINAL MISCHIEF.  OFFICERS DISCOVERED DICKINSON SLEEPING THE LANAI OF A HOME AT 500 MACEDONIA DRIVE YESTERDAY.  THE HOME HAD BEEN BURGLARIZED EARLIER THIS YEAR WHEN TWO TELEVISIONS AND JEWELRY WERE TAKEN SOMETIME BETWEEN JANUARY AND MARCH 12TH.  DICKINSON TOLD OFFICERS HE KNEW THE OWNER OF THE HOME WAS NOT THERE SO HE DECIDED TO BREAK IN TO THE LANAI TO SLEEP.  WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT THE PREVIOUS BURGLARY, DICKINSON ADMITTED TO BREAKING INTO THE HOME AND STEALING THE ITEMS WITH SOMEONE ELSE’S HELP.  HE ALSO FESSED UP TO HITTING ANOTHER HOME ABOUT A BLOCK AWAY.  DICKINSON WAS BOOKED ON THE SEVEN CHARGES AND TAKEN TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL WHERE HE IS BEING HELD ON $14,500 BOND.  POLICE SAY MORE CHARGES ARE LIKELY.
