AUTHORITIES SAY A SERIOUS ACCIDENT IN SARASOTA MONDAY MORNING WAS CAUSED BY A DRIVER WHO HAD A MEDICAL EPISODE.  THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 64 YEAR OLD J GUADALUPE OLIVO-GUERRA OF SARASOTA WAS EASTBOUND ON PROCTOR ROAD JUST BEFORE 6:30AM WHEN HE FAILED TO STOP FOR A RED LIGHT AT BENEVA ROAD AND RAN HIS HONDA CIVIC INTO A SUZUKI FORENZA DRIVEN BY 55 YEAR OLD MAYRA DE CESPEDES OF SARASOTA.  THE IMPACT FORCED BOTH VEHICLES TO SPIN OUT OF CONTROL, WITH DE CESPEDES’ CAR COMING TO REST IN THE INTERSECTION, WHILE OLIVO-GUERRA’S CAR STRUCK A WOODEN FENCE AND CAME TO REST ON THE REAR LAWN OF 4740 LARKRIDGE CIRCLE.  BOTH DRIVERS AND A PASSENGER IN THE CIVIC, 64 YEAR OLD YOLANDA LEAL DE OLIVO WERE ALL TAKEN TO SARASOTA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL.  OLIVO-GUERRA WAS REPORTEDLY IN CRITICAL CONDITION, WHILE THE OTHERS WERE IN SERIOUS CONDITION.  TROOPERS SAY BECAUSE OF THE MEDICAL EPISODE, NO CHARGES WILL BE FILED.
