A MICHIGAN MAN WAS INJURED IN A MOTORCYCLE ACCDIENT IN ENGLEWOOD EARLY THIS MORNING.  THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 40 YEAR OLD KEVIN MURPHEY OF BRIGHTON MICHIGAN WAS EASTBOUND ON SAN BERNANDINO AVENUE ON HIS HARLEY JUST AFTER 12:30AM.  HE WAS BEHIND A CHEVY CORVETTE THAT WAS DRIVEN BY 37 YEAR OLD BRYAN DOLETZKY OF GRASS LAKE MICHIGAN.  DOLETZKY WAS SLOWING TO TURN INTO A DRIVEWAY WHEN MURPHEY RAN INTO HIS CAR.  THE IMPACT THREW MURPHEY TO THE GROUND, AND TROOPERS SAY THERE WERE THIRTY FEET OF SKID MARKS ON THE ROAD.  MURPHEY WAS AIRLIFTED TO LEE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN SERIOUS CONDITION.  TROOPERS SAID MURPHEY WAS NOT WEARING A HELMET AND ALCOHOL WAS NOT A FACTOR, AND THEY SAY CHARGES ARE PENDING THE COMPLETION OF THEIR INVESTIGATION.
