MAN KILLED IN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT ON I-75

A SARASOTA MAN DIED FROM INJURIES SUSTAINED IN AN ACCIDENT ON THE INTERSTATE SUNDAY MORNING.  THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 44 YEAR OLD AARON BLEVINS WAS NORTHBOUND ON THE FRUITVILLE ROAD ONRAMP TO I-75 AT AROUND 7:45AM WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF HIS HONDA MOTORCYCLE.  A MOTOR HOME DRIVEN BY 64 YEAR OLD CHARLES WHATLEY OF WINTER HAVEN WAS IN THE RIGHT LANE ON THE INTERSTATE.  BLEVINS REPORTEDLY FELL OFF THE BIKE AND WAS RUN OVER BY THE MOTOR HOME.  HE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE.  WHATLEY WAS NOT INJURED.  TROOPERS SAY ALCOHOL WAS NOT A FACTOR, AND CHARGES MAY BE PENDING THE COMPLETION OF THEIR INVESTIGATION.
