A NORTH PORT MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY ROBBING A MAN WHO GAVE HIM A RIDE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON.  NORTH PORT POLICE SAY THEY WERE CALLED TO SOUTH BISCAYNE DRIVE AND BESSEMER STREET JUST BEFORE 4PM BY THE ALLEGED VICTIM.  HE TOLD OFFICERS HE CAME UPON 23 YEAR OLD JAMES JUSTICE AS HE DROVE DOWN SOUTH BISCAYNE.  HE GAVE JUSTICE A RIDE TO THE BESSEMER STREET INTERSECTION, AND WHEN THEY GOT THERE JUSTICE ALLEGEDLY PULLED A GUN AND ROBBED THE VICTIM OF ABOUT $700 CASH.  JUSTICE FLED THE AREA BUT WAS PICKED UP BY OFFICERS A SHORT TIME LATER.  HE WAS CHARGED WITH ROBBERY AND TAKEN TO THE SARASOTA COUNTY JAIL.  THE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS BUREAU IS CONTINUING WITH THE INVESTIGATION AND MAY FILE MORE CHARGES ONCE THEY ARE DONE.
