SARASOTA COUNTY DEPUTIES ARE LOOKING FOR A MAN WHO ROBBED A CONVENIENCE STORE IN SARASOTA LATE FRIDAY NIGHT.  DEPUTIES WERE CALLED TO THE FARM STORE AT 3515 WEBBER STREET JUST AFTER 11PM, AND THE CLERK SAID THAT AN UNKNOWN BLACK MAN WALKED INTO THE STORE WITH A STICK POLE AND KNIFE.  THE SUSPECT TRIED TO HIT THE CLERK WITH BOTH, BUT THEY MANAGED TO ESCAPE.  THE SUSPECT TOOK THE CASH REGISTER AND LEFT THE BUSINESS RUNNING EAST INTO AN ALLEY AT THE REAR OF THE EIGHT BALL LOUNGE.  HE THEN GOT INTO A DARK COLORED VEHICLE AND HEADED NORTH ON BENEVA ROAD.  THE MAN IS DESCRIBED AS BEING BETWEEN FIVE FEET EIGHT AND FIVE FEET NINE INCHES TALL WITH A STOCKY BUILD.  HE WAS WEARING A BLACK MASK, YELLOW T-SHIRT AND BLACK SHORTS.  ANYONE WITH INFORMATION CAN CALL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS AT 861-4900, OR YOU CAN LEAVE ANONYMOUS INFORMATION WITH CRIME STOPPERS, EITHER BY PHONE AT 366-TIPS, OR ONLINE AT WWW.SARASOTACRIMESTOPPERS.COM
