SARASOTA COUNTY DEPUTIES ARE LOOKING FOR HELP IN IDENTIFYING THE MAN WHO TRIED TO ROB A TEEN AS SHE USED A BANK OF AMERICA ATM LAST WEEK. DEPUTIES SAY THE VICTIM WAS TRYING TO MAKE A WITHDRAWAL FROM THE BRANCH AT 3600 BEE RIDGE ROAD AT AROUND 11:30PM LAST TUESDAY WHEN THE MAN APPROACHED HER AND DEMANDED CASH. THE SUSPECT FLED ON FOOT WITHOUT GETTING ANY MONEY AND THE VICTIM ESCAPED UNHARMED. THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED IS A WHITE MALE, POSSIBLY HISPANIC, ABOUT 5’3” TALL, AND HE WAS WEARING DARK CLOTHING AND A WHITE HAT. HE WAS POSSIBLY ARMED WITH A HANDGUN.
