PRESS RELEASE
Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office
October 16, 2025
Two women were arrested after soliciting sex with undercover deputies at a pair of massage parlors.
On Wednesday, October 15, members of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conducted an undercover operation following tips received in reference to illegal prostitution at a pair of Port Charlotte massage parlors. In each scenario, the deputies entered the businesses and requested a massage. While laying on the table, they were offered sex by the masseuse for additional money.
Yuling Zhang (4/11/1981) solicited sex with an undercover deputy while working as a massage therapist at Magnolia Foot and Body Massage, located at 3178 Tamiami Trail, Unit B, in Port Charlotte. The investigation found that there is no record of Zhang having a license to practice massage therapy. She was charged with Soliciting Prostitution and Operating a Massage Establishment Without a License. At the time of this release, Zhang is being held on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer.

Li Shen (5/6/1971) solicited sex with an undercover deputy while working as a massage therapist at Magic Massage, located at 4120 Tamiami Trail, #2, in Port Charlotte. Shen had also been arrested and charged with prostitution in September 2023 by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation also found that Shen’s massage therapy license was revoked in June of this year as a result of that previous arrest. Due to this fact, Shen was charged with Use or Attempted Use of Revoked Massage License in addition to the new Prostitution (2nd Offense) charge. Shen has already bonded out in the amount of $1,000.

“I want to thank the members of our community who provided the tips regarding this illegal activity. This filth is not welcome in Charlotte County, and I hope that any others who are operating in this manner see exactly what will happen if they continue. I encourage our community members to seriously question the validity of these pop-up massage businesses before using them. There are plenty of authentic and reputable options in Charlotte County.”
Sheriff Bill Prummell
