ARCADIA – A motorcyclist was critically injured on Friday night in a crash along U.S. 17. The man died on Saturday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The man, has been identified as a 65-year-old Arcadia resident. He was northbound on a motorcycle approaching Northwest Daniel Street in Arcadia.
The motorcycle was traveling north on US-17, approaching the intersection of NE Daniels Street in the right lane. The other car was traveling directly in front of the motorcycle north on US-17, approaching the same intersection.
The motorcycle slowed to turn right onto NW Daniels Street. The front of the other vehicle collided with the rear of the motorcycle.
The crash remains under investigation.
