Emilio Gustavo Angel Olalde, the suspect in the premeditated murder of Olivia Maldonaldo De La Torre, has been located and apprehended.
On January 18, 2024, our dedicated detectives successfully tracked Emilio Gustavo Angel Olalde to a residence within DeSoto County. Sheriff Jim Potter commends the commitment and relentless efforts of our investigative team in ensuring the safety of our community and bringing the suspect to justice.
The arrest of Olalde is a result of continuous follow-up and checks conducted regarding the murder investigation. Sheriff Potter is beyond proud of the dedication demonstrated by our detectives throughout this process.
