NORTH PORT CITY FINANCE DIRECTOR TERRI GOULD IS REPORTEDLY LEAVING HER JOB.  PUBLISHED REPORTS SAY GOULD AND NORTH PORT WERE IN NEGOTIATIONS MONDAY FOR TERMS OF THEIR SEPARATION TO DETERMINE IF SHE WILL RESIGN OR BE FIRED.  INTERIM CITY MANAGER TERRY LEWIS TOLD THE HERALD TRIBUNE THE DECISION WAS NOT BASED ON MISHANDLING OF CITY MONEY, BUT OTHER PERFORMANCE ISSUES THAT HE DID NOT ELABORATE ON.  IT’S THE THIRD CITY EXECUTIVE TO LEAVE IN THE LAST THREE MONTHS AS CITY ENGINEER PAT COLLINS LEFT FOR A JOB IN GEORGIA IN DECEMBER AND CITY MANAGER STEVE CROWELL LEFT IN OCTOBER AFTER BEING FORCED OUT BY THE CITY COMMISSION.  GOULD HAS BEEN WITH THE CITY SINCE 2003 AND WAS REPORTEDLY MAKING ABOUT $129,000 A YEAR.
