AUTHORITIES ARE STILL LOOKING FOR WHO SHOT TWO WARM MINERAL SPRINGS RESIDENTS LATE TUESDAY NIGHT, KILLING ONE.  CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY 28 YEAR OLD KATRINA STONER WAS RELEASED FROM VENICE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WEDNESDAY AFTER GETTING TREATMENT FOR A GUNSHOT WOUND.  32 YEAR OLD ROBERT MANN WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT BAYFRONT MEDICAL CENTER EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING FROM A GUNSHOT WOUND.  RESIDENTS IN THE AREA SAY THEY HEARD SHOTS FIRED JUST BEFORE MIDNIGHT IN THE TRIPLEX AT 141 GRANADA BOULEVARD WITH STONER SCREAMING FOR HELP.  THE TRIPLEX IS IN A SECTION OF TOWN KNOWN AS LITTLE HAVANA BECAUSE OF DRUG AND CRIMINAL ACTIVITY IN THE AREA.  JUST SUNDAY NIGHT, THE AREA WAS CRAWLING WITH DEPUTIES FOLLOWING A REPORTED ROBBERY.  SARASOTA COUNTY SHERIFF’S SPOKESPERSON WENDY ROSE SAID THAT STONER IS NOT A SUSPECT AND THEY ARE TREATING THE INVESTIGATION AS A HOMICIDE.  ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ASKED TO CALL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS AT 861-1719, OR YOU CAN LEAVE ANONYMOUS INFORMATION WITH CRIME STOPPERS, EITHER BY PHONE AT 366-TIPS, OR ONLINE AT WWW.SARASOTACRIMESTOPPERS.COM.
