On July 27, 2023, the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office joined forces with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office to execute a co-affiant search warrant here in DeSoto County. Suspect Jose Galindo, known for his violent criminal history and multiple felony convictions, was the target of this operation.
Thanks to the swift and precise action of the DCSO SWAT team, the search warrant was executed, leading to the recovery of crucial evidence! 2 stolen car-haulers were located, stolen car parts were successfully recovered and a firearm is no longer in the hands of a convicted felon.
But that’s not all! The DCSO Narcotics Unit made a massive breakthrough in the fight against illegal drugs, finding 13.35 grams of Fentanyl, 15.51 grams of Cocaine and 7.68 grams of Methamphetamine.
As a result of this incredible operation, Jose Galindo is now behind bars and facing a multitude of charges, including:
– Possession of Controlled Substance
– Sell/Manufacture/Deliver/Possess Controlled Substance
– Trafficking in Fentanyl (4 to 14 grams)
