Arcadia Police Department
On March 6, 2024, members of the Arcadia Police Department responded to the area of Alabama Ave/Court St in regard to gunshots being heard. After canvassing the area, Officers located a male victim who was deceased. Shortly after, it was learned that another male victim was at DeSoto Memorial Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds.
Assistant Marshal Evans and Lieutenant Carrillo of our Criminal Investigations Unit began their investigation on scene. As they gathered information, quickly after, Jac’ques Randell Lamar Allen (21) was arrested and has been charged with First Degree Murder and Attempted Murder.
