THE OWNER OF BELLA NAPOLI PIZZERIA ON PEACHLAND BOULEVARD IN PORT CHARLOTTE WAS HELD UP AT GUNPOINT EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY THEY WERE CALLED JUST BEFORE 12:30AM TO THE CLOSED RESTAURANT. THE VICTIM SAID HE ANSWERED A KNOCK AT THE REAR DOOR AND ENCOUNTERED TWO BLACK MEN WEARING BLACK HOODIES, ONE OF WHICH WAS ARMED WITH AN UNKNOWN REVOLVER. THE UNARMED MAN REPORTEDLY PATTED THE MAN DOWN, TAKING AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF MONEY OUT OF HIS POCKET AND A NECKLACE. THE TWO THEN FLED IN A BEIGE OR RUST COLORED FOUR-DOOR HYUNDAI OR TOYOTA TYPE VEHICLE. THE OWNER WAS UNINJURED AND THE MAJOR CRIMES UNIT HAS TAKEN OVER THE INVESTIGATION.
