The truck was traveling west on the northern paved and unpaved shoulder of State Road 70 when an Arcadia man approached the same intersection. The truck tried to turn left at the intersection and that is when the man fell out of the truck in to on coming traffic according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

That vehicle hit the man, who later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
