A PUNTA GORDA WOMAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER SELLING CRACK COCAINE FOR A THIRD TIME TO UNDERCOVER DETECTIVES IN PORT CHARLOTTE. DEPUTIES SAY 59 YEAR OLD ROSE SCANLIN MADE THE SALES ON MARCH 31ST, APRIL 11TH AND LAST FRIDAY. WHEN FRIDAY’S TRANSACTION WAS COMPLETED, DEPUTIES MOVED IN FOR THE BUST. SCANLIN WAS CHARGED WITH THREE COUNTS OF SALE AND DELIVERY OF CRACK COCAINE AND THREE COUNTS OF POSSESSION OF CRACK COCAINE. SHE REMAINS IN THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL WITHOUT BOND AS THIS IS HER NINTH BOOKING AND SHE IS A TWICE CONVICTED FELON.
