SW HULL AVENUE
ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
DeSoto County has obtained Small County Outreach Program funding through the Florida Department of Transportation for the repaving of SW Hull Avenue between SW Senate Street and US 17 (SR 35). The project also includes drainage pipe reconstruction and upgrades to the existing railroad crossings. The project is anticipated to take 7 months to complete.
This project is anticipated to begin on July 5th, 2023. During construction, there will be locations of road closures for cross-drain installation and railroad crossing improvements. Construction crews will utilize detours routes during this time and residents may be directed around the construction activities.
