SHARE NOW

A ROTONDA WEST MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER FINGERPRINTS TAKEN FROM A CRIME SCENE LAST MONTH MATCHED THOSE IN THE NATIONAL SYSTEM AFIS.  DETECTIVES SAY 27 YEAR OLD JAMES GREEN’S PRINTS WERE LOCATED ON AN OPENED SAFE AT TIRES PLUS ON SOUTH MCCALL ROAD BACK ON JANUARY 18TH.  THE STORE MANAGER CALLED DEPUTIES AFTER HE FOUND THE SAFE MOVED AND CUT OPEN USING TORCHES.  HE REPORTED THAT ABOUT $700 WAS TAKEN.  THE TORCHES WERE IN ANOTHER PART OF THE BUILDING AND PUT THROUGH THE OFFICE WINDOW AND USED TO CUT THE SAFE OPEN.  CRIME SCENE TECHNICIANS LIFTED THE PRINTS AND SENT THEM TO AFIS.  THEY CAME BACK AS A POSITIVE MATCH TO GREEN, WHO WAS CHARGED WITH BURGLARY AND GRAND THEFT.  HE POSTED A $10,000 BOND AND WAS RELEASED, BUT DETECTIVES SAY THE INVESTIGATION IS STILL OPEN.
