ARCADIA, FL —

Shooting victim has died from gunshot wound inflicted at DeSoto County Fair Saturday evening. The victim has been identified as Danny Rodriguez Lopez.
Arcadia Police and the Sheriff’s Office have released few details about the shooting. Police say the incident appears isolated and there is no further threat to the public.
DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office confirms at least one person was shot last night at the DeSoto County Fair. If you have any information regarding the shooting, please contact Lieutenant Troy Carrillo and call 863-494-2222. Arcadia Police Department is leading the investigation at this time.
Right now this shooting is an active and ongoing investigation led by Arcadia Police Department. DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the investigation by tracking down all possible leads in this case.
