Smoke on the River BBQ & Music Fest Set to Sizzle in Punta Gorda
PUNTA GORDA, FL – Barbecue lovers, mark your calendars! The Smoke on the River BBQ & Music Fest is returning to Laishley Park on Saturday, February 22, 2025, bringing a full day of slow-cooked flavors, live country music, and unique shopping experiences.
From Noon to 6 p.m., the festival will showcase local BBQ pitmasters, serving up mouthwatering smoked meats and signature dishes. To complement the delicious fare, attendees can enjoy live performances from Pure Country of Southwest Florida and the Back Country Boys, two of the region’s most popular country music bands.
Live Music Lineup
- 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Acoustic Set
- 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Back Country Boys
- 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Pure Country of Southwest Florida
In addition to the music and food, festivalgoers can browse the retail vendor area, featuring a variety of unique shopping opportunities.

- General Admission: $8 in advance, $10 at the gate (Kids under 12 enter free with an adult)
- VIP Pavilion: Includes table seating, complimentary bottled water, soft drinks, draft beer, exclusive restrooms, and upfront stage access

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Florida Outdoor Education Foundation, supporting outdoor education programs that connect people with Florida’s natural environment.
