AN ENGLEWOOD WOMAN WAS ARRESTED SHORTLY AFTER SHE HELD UP A MURDOCK WALGREEN’S FOR A BOTTLE OF HYDROCODONE.  CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAID THEY WERE CALLED TO THE PHARMACY AT 1800 TAMIAMI TRAIL JUST AFTER 8:30 LAST NIGHT WHERE THE PHARMACIST TOLD THEM A WOMAN WITH A GUN HAD JUST HELD THEM UP FOR THE PILLS.  NORTH PORT POLICE REPORTED A SIMILAR INCIDENT EARLIER IN THE EVENING, BUT THE SUSPECT DIDN’T GET ANY PILLS.  THEY DID GIVE DEPUTIES A POSSIBLE IDENTIFICATION OF 45 YEAR OLD KAREN DJAFARAZABE.  DETECTIVES WERE CALLED IN TO START THE INVESTIGATION AND THE STORE WAS CLOSED OFF WITH PATRONS BEING TURNED AWAY.  JUST AFTER 9PM, A WOMAN APPROACHED AND HELD OUT A PILL BOTTLE SAYING SHE WANTED TO “BRING THESE BACK.”  SHE WAS ASKED IF SHE WAS KAREN AND SHE SAID YES.  SHE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AND CONFESSED, TELLING DETECTIVES WHERE THE GUN WAS HIDDEN.  IT WAS RECOVERED AND DJAFARAZABE WAS CHARGED WITH ARMED ROBBERY WITH A FIREARM.  SHE IS IN THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL.
