The DeSoto County Legislative Delegation will convene on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to conduct local business, including a public hearing on local bills and other issues. The meeting will be at the DeSoto County Administration Building, 201 East Oak Street, Arcadia, Florida in the County Commission Chambers.

This annual public meeting is an opportunity for citizens, elected officials, local governments, and other organizations to address the Delegation before the start of the 2023 Legislative Session.

Public Comment cards will be available on the day of the meeting affording you time to speak.  Those completing a card at the meeting will be heard in the order in which it was received and will be allotted three minutes to speak.

If you intend to submit handouts for the legislators to review and do not submit them in advance, you will need to bring four (4) copies to the meeting for distribution.
