THREE ARCADIA MEN WERE ARRESTED THURSDAY AFTER THEY TRIED TO SELL COPPER THAT THEY HAD STOLEN EARLIER IN THE DAY TO A LOCAL RECYCLING BUSINESS.  CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY 21 YEAR OLD BRANDON TAYLOR, 25 YEAR OLD JOHN BRAKEFIELD, AND 25 YEAR OLD JASON CHURCH WERE ALL POPPED AFTER THE MANAGER OF TRADEMARK METALS RECYCLING ON DALEWOOD STREET IN THE CLEVELAND SECTION OF PUNTA GORDA CONFRONTED THE MEN ABOUT THEIR SALE.  WHAT THE MEN DIDN’T KNOW IS THE OWNER OF CHESTER RECYCLING IN ARCADIA CALLED EARLIER TO SAY THE COPPER WAS STOLEN FROM HIM.  DEPUTIES CALLED IN ARCADIA AUTHORITIES TO VERIFY THE COPPER WAS THE STUFF STOLEN FROM THE ARCADIA BUSINESS.  TAYLOR WAS A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF THE RECYCLING YARD IN ARCADIA.  THE THREE WERE CHARGED WITH DEALING IN STOLEN PROPERTY.  THEY ALL POSTED $5000 BOND EACH AND WERE RELEASED.
