AUTHORITIES ARRESTED THREE PEOPLE IN CONNECTION WITH A SHOOTING IN ENGLEWOOD ON SUNDAY.  38 YEAR OLD DONALD COSTA OF PORT CHARLOTTE ALONG WITH 38 YEAR OLD DEREK HARRINGTON AND 37 YEAR OLD NICOLE LEDESMA, BOTH OF ROTONDA WEST, ARE ALL ACCUSED IN THE ATTACK OF 22 YEAR OLD DILLON DONOHOE NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF ELM AND HARVARD STREET SUNDAY AFTERNOON.  THE PROBABLE CAUSE AFFIDAVIT SAYS THE THREE SUSPECTS TRIED TO BUY PRESCRIPTION DRUGS FROM DONOHOE, BUT COSTA THEN TRIED TO ROB DONOHOE, CHASING HIM DOWN HARVARD STREET.  WHEN COSTA CAUGHT UP TO DONOHOE, HE ASKED HARRINGTON TO HOLD HIM DOWN WHILE HE TOOK NEARLY $1700 FROM THE VICTIM.  WHEN DONOHOE FOUGHT BACK, COSTA PULLED A GUN AND TOOK ONE SHOT AT HIM.  THE BULLET REPORTEDLY ENTERED THROUGH HIS FOREHEAD AND EXITED THROUGH HIS SKULL.  HE SURVIVED AND FINGERED THE THREE SUSPECTS.  COSTA WAS CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER AND ROBBERY WITH A FIREARM, WHILE HARRINGTON AND LEDESMA WERE CHARGED WITH PRINCIPAL TO BOTH OF THOSE FELONIES.  LEDESMA REPORTEDLY DROVE THE VEHICLE IN THE INCIDENT.  THE THREE ARE IN THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL WITHOUT BOND AWAITING EXTRADITION TO SARASOTA COUNTY.
