CHARLOTTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S NARCOTICS DETECTIVES SERVED A SEARCH WARRANT AT A HOME NEAR KINGSWAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.  AUTHORITIES BURST INTO THE HOUSE AT 23276 ALTMAN AVENUE AT AROUND 6:45AM AND FOUND FIVE ADULTS, A SEVEN YEAR OLD AND A FIFTEEN MONTH OLD, ALONG WITH AN UNLOCKED SAFE FILLED WITH BAGGIES THAT HAD COCAINE RESIDUE ON THEM AS WELL AS MARIJUANA AND NUMEROUS PARAPHERNALIA ITEMS.  THREE OF THE ADULTS IN THE HOME WERE ARRESTED.  30 YEAR OLD STEVEN JOHNSTON WAS CHARGED WITH THREE COUNTS OF POSSESSION OF COCAINE AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, SALE AND DELIVERY OF COCAINE WITHIN A THOUSAND FEET OF A SCHOOL AND AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY; 29 YEAR OLD GARRY DECKER WAS CHARGED WITH THREE COUNTS OF SALE AND DELIVERY OF COCAINE WITHIN A THOUSAND FEET OF A SCHOOL, TWO COUNTS OF POSSESSION OF COCAINE AND PARAPHERNALIA, AND SALE AND DELIVERY OF COCAINE WITHIN A THOUSAND FEET OF AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY; AND 31 YEAR OLD MARISSA DECKER WAS CHARGED WITH SALE AND DELIVERY OF COCAINE WITHIN A THOUSAND FEET OF AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY.  THE ARRESTS STEM FROM THREE UNDERCOVER DRUG PURCHASES OF POWDERED COCAINE IN SEPTEMBER.
