The investigation surrounding the murder of Daniel Rodriguez-Lopez has remained active and two additional arrests have been made. As a result of this, William Shilling (54) and Sharae White (33) were both arrested and charged with False Report to Law Enforcement, FSS 837.055.
Daniel Rodriquez-Lopez was murdered at The DeSoto County Fair on February 5th. On February 8, 2023, juvenile, Ryan Watson Jr (15) was arrested and charged with the murder of Lopez who was 17.
This case remains active, and is still being investigated.
