TWO DEPUTIES WERE INJURED TRYING TO BREAK UP A BAR FIGHT AT AN ENGLEWOOD BAR EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.  DEPUTIES SAY THEY WERE CALLED TO JUNIORS LOUNGE, AND WHEN THEY ARRIVED 37 YEAR OLD RON STEVENS HAD ALREADY ATTACKED A BOUNCER AS HE WAS BEING THROWN OUT OF THE BAR.  A DEPUTY ASKED STEVENS AND HIS FRIEND TO LEAVE, AND AS THEY WERE HIS MOTHER, 50 YEAR OLD JANET OLSON, GRABBED THE DEPUTY’S WRIST AND BROKE THE SKIN WITH HER FINGERNAILS.  THE DEPUTY PUSHED OLSON AND SHE FELL TO THE GROUND.  STEVENS THEN BECAME ANGRY AND HIT THE DEPUTY IN THE HEAD, WHICH PROMPTED BOTH DEPUTIES TO TAKE STEVENS DOWN.  WHILE ONE DEPUTY WAS RESTRAINING STEVENS, OLSON AND STEVENS’ GIRLFRIEND, 26 YEAR OLD LINDSAY WIEDENKELLER BEGAN HITTING THE DEPUTY FROM BEHIND.  THE DEPUTY TOOK BOTH WOMEN TO THE GROUND AND HAD TO USE A TASER TO SUBDUE OLSON.  AT THAT TIME, 44 YEAR OLD TIMOTHY RASNICK BEGAN HITTING THE OTHER DEPUTY FROM BEHIND, AND HE TRIED TO GET THE DEPUTY IN A CHOKE HOLD.  A THIRD DEPUTY ARRIVED TO HELP AND THE OTHER DEPUTY TASED RASNICK.  THE FIRST DEPUTY HAD A PUFFY EYE AND BLURRED VISION WHILE THE SECOND DEPUTY REPORTEDLY INJURED HIS BACK.  THEY AND THE INJURED SUSPECTS WERE TAKEN TO FAWCETT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT.  THE FOUR SUSPECTS WERE TAKEN TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL ON A MULTITUDE OF CHARGES AND ARE ALL BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND.
