TWO PEOPLE WERE INJURED, ONE SERIOUSLY IN AN ACCIDENT IN SARASOTA SUNDAY MORNING. THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 57 YEAR OLD LAWRENCE ZELLER OF SARASOTA WAS IN THE WAL-MART PARKING LOT ON CATTLEMAN ROAD AT CASA DEL SOL BOULEVARD JUST AFTER 10:30AM WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN ONTO CATTLEMAN WHEN HE RAN INTO A CAR THAT WAS NORTHBOUND ON CATTLEMAN DRIVEN BY 69 YEAR OLD PRISSCILLA PERKINS-KOOPMAN OF SARASOTA. PERKINS-KOOPMAN WAS BAYFLITED TO BAYFRONT MEDICAL CENTER IN ST. PETERSBURG IN SERIOUS CONDITION, WHILE ZELLER’S DAUGHTER, 23 YEAR OLD STACY ZELLER OF SARASOTA, WAS TAKEN TO DOCTORS HOSPITAL WITH MINOR INJURIES. LAWRENCE ZELLER WAS NOT INJURED. TROOPERS SAY THAT EVERYONE WAS WEARING THEIR SEAT BELTS, AND THEY SIGHTED LAWRENCE ZELLER WITH VIOLATION OF THE RIGHT OF WAY IN THE WRECK.
