TWO OF FOUR SISTERS RIDING IN A TOYOTA PRIUS WERE KILLED IN AN ACCIDENT FRIDAY IN SARASOTA.  THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 46 YEAR OLD MAUREEN JOHNSON OF ARIZONA WAS NORTH ON RAND BOULEVARD APPROACHING CLARK ROAD JUST AFTER 3PM FRIDAY.  JOHNSON TRIED TO CROSS OVER CLARK WHEN SHE WAS HIT BY A PICK-UP TRUCK THAT WAS DRIVEN BY 54 YEAR OLD GERALD HASE OF SARASOTA.  THE IMPACT CAUSED THE PRIUS TO END UP IN THE EXIT LANES OF THE ADMIRAL WALK CONDO COMPLEX.  JOHNSON AND HER THREE SISTERS, 71 YEAR OLD REGINA STEPANOWSKI, 58 YEAR OLD MARGARET CHENEL, AND 49 YEAR OLD SUSAN PRIZIO, ALONG WITH HASE WERE ALL FLOWN TO BAYFRONT MEDICAL CENTER IN ST. PETERSBURG.  STEPANOWSKI WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD SHORTLY AFTER ARRIVING AND JOHNSON DIED SATURDAY NIGHT.  CHENEL AND PRIZIO REMAIN IN CRITICAL CONDITION, AND HASE IS IN SERIOUS CONDITION.   TROOPERS SAY ALL BUT CHENEL WERE WEARING THEIR SEATBELTS, AND CHARGES ARE PENDING THE COMPLETION OF THEIR INVESTIGATION.
