TWO WOMEN WERE ARRESTED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON IN AN UNDERCOVER DRUG OPERATION IN A STORE BATHROOM IN AN ENGLEWOOD SHOPPING CENTER.  ONE OF THE WOMEN, 19 YEAR OLD KARIS RUSSELL OF ENGLEWOOD WAS ARRESTED MONDAY ALONG WITH HER MOTHER AND FATHER ON DRUG CHARGES.  DETECTIVES SAY THE DRUG BUY FOR OXYCODONE AND XANAX PILLS TOOK PLACE IN A STORE ON SOUTH MCCALL ROAD.  WHEN THE DEAL WAS DONE, DETECTIVES MOVED IN AND ARRESTED RUSSELL AND 20 YEAR OLD TEAL THOMSON OF ROTONDA WEST.  BOTH WERE CHARGED WITH TWO FELONY COUNTS OF SALE AND DELIVERY OF OXYCODONE AND SALE AND DELIVERY OF XANAX.  THEY WERE TRANSPORTED TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL WHERE RUSSELL IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND.  THOMSON’S BOND IS SET AT $10,000.  RUSSELL WAS ARRESTED MONDAY EVENING IN HER HOME ALONG WITH HER PARENTS JACK AND PENNY AFTER DETECTIVES SEARCHED THEIR MARYKNOLL HOME LOOKING FOR 31 YEAR OLD NORRIS HUBBARD JR., WHO WAS CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER IN CONNECTION WITH A MONDAY PORT CHARLOTTE HOME INVASION WITH SHOTS FIRED.  DETECTIVES ARE STILL LOOKING FOR AN ACCOMPLICE IN THAT CRIME.
