TWO YEAR OLD’S CONDITION IS UPGRADED

THE TWO YEAR OLD TODDLER WHO WAS RUN OVER BY HIS FATHER IN THE FAMILY DRIVEWAY EAST OF PUNTA GORDA ON WEDNESDAY HAD HIS CONDITION UPGRADED.  NATHAN SCRIBNER IS NOW REPORTEDLY IN SERIOUS CONDITION AT TAMPA GENERAL HOSPITAL RECOVERING FROM SEVERAL BROKEN RIBS, A COLLAPSED LUNG, AND LEG INJURIES.  41 YEAR OLD RONALD SCRIBNER, JR. WAS BACKING HIS PICK-UP OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY AT 16150 WILDWOOD COURT WHEN NATHAN WALKED INTO THE PATH AND WAS RUN OVER.  NATHAN’S MOTHER CALLED 911 WHILE RONALD GRABBED THE CHILD AND SPED TOWARDS THE HOSPITAL.  AUTHORITIES MET UP WITH SCRIBNER ON WASHINGTON LOOP ROAD NEAR US 17, WHERE A HELICOPTER LANDED AND TOOK NATHAN TO LEE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN FORT MYERS.  HE WAS LATER AIRLIFTED TO TAMPA GENERAL HOSPITAL, WHERE A SPOKESPERSON TOLD THE SUN HIS CONDITION WAS UPGRADED FROM CRITICAL TO SERIOUS.
