Englewood Beach Waterfest to Host APBA World Championship Finale
The 2025 Englewood Beach Waterfest is set to make history as it hosts the American Powerboat Association (APBA) World Championship finale from October 10–12. For the first time, the festival will serve as the final stop in the APBA National Championship Series and Offshore World Championships, marking the biggest event in the festival’s 11-year history.
The weekend will feature the last three races of the APBA offshore championship series, culminating with an awards ceremony to crown the new world champions.
Schedule of Events:
Thursday, October 9: PowerUp Pre-Race Party
Friday, October 10: Annual Block Party on Dearborn Street, including a meet-and-greet with race teams
Saturday, October 11: Offshore racing begins at 11 a.m.
Sunday, October 12: Final races followed by the World Championship awards ceremony
Englewood Beach will be the center of offshore racing excitement as fans, teams, and champions gather for this world-class event.
