A SARASOTA WOMAN WHO WAS HAVING A VERBAL ARGUMENT WITH SOMEONE IN HER HOME HIT A PEDESTRIAN AS SHE TRIED TO BACK OUT OF A DRIVEWAY TUESDAY AFTERNOON.  THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL SAYS 20 YEAR OLD MAGGIE HOLTON WAS BACKING FROM THE DRIVEWAY ON SWIFT ROAD AT EDGEWATER LANE WHEN SHE HIT 28 YEAR OLD ANTHONY VICCARO OF SARASOTA WITH HER TOYOTA FOUR DOOR.  A WITNESS YELLED AT HOLTON, WHO THEN PULLED FORWARD THINKING VICCARO WAS UNDER HER CAR AND HIT HIM AGAIN.  VICCARO WAS BAYFLITED TO BAYFRONT MEDICAL CENTER IN ST. PETERSBURG IN SERIOUS CONDITION.  HOLTON WAS NOT INJURED.  TROOPERS SAY ALCOHOL WAS NOT A FACTOR AND VICCARO WAS NOT THE PERSON THAT HOLTON WAS ARGUING WITH.  THEY CITED HOLTON FOR IMPROPER BACKING IN THE ACCIDENT.
