A PORT CHARLOTTE WOMAN WAS ARRESTED EARLY YESTERDAY AFTER AUTHORITIES WERE CALLED TO HER HOME TO BREAK UP A PARTY.  CHARLOTTE COUNTY DEPUTIES SAY THEY WERE CALLED TO A HOME IN THE 21300 BLOCK OF COULTON AVENUE IN REFERENCE TO A DISTURBANCE.  A MAN WHO LIVES THERE LET DEPUTIES INSIDE, AND THEY SAW SEVERAL MINORS THERE WITH ALCOHOL BEING SERVED.  A 15 YEAR OLD PORT CHARLOTTE GIRL WAS ARRESTED ON A CHARGE OF POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL BY A PERSON UNDER TWENTY-ONE YEARS OLD.  AS DEPUTIES WERE TALKING WITH OTHER PARTY GOERS, 50 YEAR OLD CANDICE BADALAMENTI ARRIVED AT THE HOME.  DEPUTIES SAID SHE APPEARED INTOXICATED AND SHE REPORTEDLY STRUCK A SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL WHO WAS BEING ESCORTED FROM THE HOME IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD.  SHE WAS NOT INJURED.  BADALAMENTI WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH CHILD ABUSE.  SHE AND THE 15 YEAR OLD WERE BOTH TAKEN TO THE CHARLOTTE COUNTY JAIL.  BADALAMENTI IS BEING HELD ON $7500 BOND.  THE GIRL WAS RELEASED TO HER PARENTS.
