*** UPDATE: Charity King turned herself in. ***

In late July two Great Danes and one German Sheppard were discarded like trash and left to suffer in a remote, rural part of DeSoto County. Thanks to a good Samaritan who alerted us, we were able to step in and ensure the dogs are no longer subjected to neglect and malnourishment.

Our dedicated Criminal Investigative Division, led by Detective Sergeant Bailey, has launched a thorough investigation into this case. And now we’re asking for YOUR assistance to locate Charity King for this week’s #WarrantWednesday. King is wanted on three counts of Aggravated Animal Cruelty and three counts of Abandonment to Animals.

Let’s come together to ensure that those who commit such heinous acts are held accountable for their actions. We’ve received credible information that King might be residing in Charlotte County.

If you have any information that can help us locate Charity King, please don’t hesitate to reach out to DCSO at 863-993-4700. If you prefer to remain anonymous, you can provide tips through SWFL Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS. Your assistance could be the key to ensuring that these innocent animals receive the justice they deserve. #StopAnimalCruelty
