TWO WOMEN WERE ARRESTED WEDNESDAY NIGHT AFTER A REPORTED KIDNAPPING IN LAUREL.  DEPUTIES SAY A WOMAN ON CHURCH STREET FLAGGED THEM DOWN AT AROUND 7:30PM WEDNESDAY AND SAID SHE HAD BEEN ROBBED.  AS DEPUTIES GOT EVERYONE OUT OF THE VEHICLE, A MAN IN THE BACK SEAT, IDENTIFIED AS EUGENE HOWELL, SAID THE TWO WOMEN HELD HIM AT GUNPOINT AFTER A DRUG DEAL WITH A FOURTH PERSON WENT BAD.  HOWELL SAID THE WOMEN REFUSED TO LET HIM OUT UNTIL THEIR MONEY OR THE PILLS THEY ATTEMPTED TO BUY WERE RETURNED.  DEPUTIES RECOVERED A GLOCK SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL FROM THE CAR AND TOOK THE WOMEN, 46 YEAR OLD DAYNA ROSE AND 27 YEAR OLD MEGAN SANAI, BOTH OF SANTA ROSA, INTO CUSTODY.  THEY BOTH FACE ONE COUNT EACH OF KIDNAPPING AND AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, WHILE ROSE IS ALSO CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A CONVICTED FELON.  BOTH ARE BEING HELD IN THE SARASOTA COUNTY JAIL.
