Parents, are you hesitant to hand over the car keys? Let us help you with your decision. Sign up your teen NOW for our Teen Driver Challenge!

It’s on Saturday, September 9 at 8:00 am at DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office. Teens with a valid learners permit or drivers license are eligible to sign up and participate in this free class.
This extensive driving course is offered to 15 to 19-year-olds with six months of licensed driving experience and is free of cost to Desoto County Youth. Students receive hands-on driving by maneuvering through an elaborate obstacle course and utilizing the Easy Drift Driver Training System to understand Florida’s wet driving conditions better.
Class size is limited to the first 12 attendees, so sign up your teen TODAY! RSVP by Monday, September 4, by submitting an application. You can receive an application at DCSO or with Sgt. Santos at DeSoto High School. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Captain Tim Hilgeman at (863) 491-6744 or email [email protected].
