Brian Duckworth, the country singer known as “Nashville,” died Monday at his home in Clarksburg, West Virginia, at age 56. No cause of death has been disclosed. Duckworth performed in the family band Taylor Made with his sister Wendy Williams and brother Greg Duckworth, and together they built a following that reached well beyond their home state.
Taylor Made earned national recognition when MusicRow named the group Independent Artist of the Year in 2012, and the band went on to open shows for Miranda Lambert, Charlie Daniels and Dierks Bentley. Through it all, Duckworth kept his day job, driving a dump truck for Wolfe’s Excavating, where he was affectionately known as the “Truck Boss.”
His family said music was a special part of his life, and that Brian never passed up an opportunity to share his voice.
