Bobbe Thompson, the actor who played Stanley on Disney Channel’s “That’s So Raven,” has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison plus three years of supervised release. Thompson, 30, pleaded guilty in April to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. The case began on September 22, 2025, when Iowa troopers clocked him driving 104 miles per hour in a 70-mph zone. During the traffic stop, officers found a loaded .40-caliber pistol that had been reported stolen from a vehicle in Kansas City, Missouri.
The sentence won’t happen in a vacuum. Federal officials say Thompson’s 30 months will run consecutively with any sentences from pending cases in Washington state and Missouri, meaning additional time could be added down the line. Beyond “That’s So Raven,” where he played the neighborhood kid Stanley, Thompson also appeared as Ronnie Shields in the 2008 film “Role Models.”
